Treat Sweets is the first of a series of high-end dessert, candy and gift shops. We were asked by the client to design a space that would be functional and fun, but still sophisticated enough to be an after-dinner destination. We worked closely with the client in planning and design of the cafeteria/retail side and coordinated with the kitchen consultant for the back of the house functions. The bar area has an all glass display of the shop’s signature dessert options. Another key feature was the creation of a central community table where one might sit and meet other people enjoying their favorite treat. Overall the interior of Treat Sweets appropriately creates a rich, warm and inviting place to enjoy your favorite treat with a friend.
