BBA Architecture was the design architect for a pair of contemporary 2 story office buildings along the 101 Freeway at Lost Hills Road. Using colors, materials and forms that are sympathetic to the natural environment, the two buildings are formed and designed to control the sun and light and to exploit the amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The sloped site was designed to provide full accessibility while minimizing the visual clutter normally associated with stair and ramp systems between buildings at significantly different pad elevations.
The project is close to the future land bridge that will help connect the ocean space north and south of the 101 freeway so as to allow the local wildlife to cross over the freeway.
